canalbarge.co.uk and also www.narrowboat-holidays.org.uk both are a good source of hire boats.

Boats were reasonably comfortable ... that is for Narrowboats, but the best bit is simply relaxing on the water. You can't help it when the dog walkers on the towpath are going faster!
